Several teachers from our staff have created programs that are unique to our school. Equine Studies 10-12, Physical Education 8-12, Literature Studies 12, and Film and Video Production 12 are courses that you will not find in others schools across the province.
Equine Studies Courses
The Horses in High School program was designed by staff teacher Arlene Ridge for students who like horses. Students will learn
about horses, possible careers and riding. There is an optional riding instruction
component at an added fee. The course is open to beginners and those advanced in

English Literature 12
This course was developed by staff teacher Shelley Little, for the Connected Learners Project, so that students in all district high schools will have an opportunity to take advantage of a rare, higher level English course offering. Read About English Literature 12
Our PE program was designed by principal Wayne Pelter for our on-line or self-paced students. Many of these students will be elite athletes; however, the curriculum will also work for those who are not sports school students. You can choose a unique route to complete this course using activities that you are active in. Read About PE Courses
