Our PE program is designed for our on-line or self-paced students. Many of these students will be elite athletes; however, the curriculum will also work for those who are not sports school students. You can choose a unique route to complete this course using activities that you are active in.

Your challenge is to look at each of the learning outcomes and come up with a plan to meet each of the objectives.  In this way, filling in your sport activities sheet each month could easily meet goals 1, 2 and 3 under the active living section.

Physical Education in Grades 8-12 helps students enhance their quality of life through active living and organized around themes of Active Living, Movement, and Personal and Social Responsibility. Active Living provides students with opportunities to make appropriate choices and set personal goals that enhance their quality of life. Movement includes physical activities in the areas of alternative-environment activities, dance, games, gymnastics, as well as individual and dual activities. In all movement categories students develop efficient and effective movement skills, and understanding of the movement concepts and body mechanics that are necessary to develop activity-specific motor skills. Personal and Social Responsibility provides opportunities for students to acquire leadership skills and an understanding of the qualifications required to pursue careers related to physical activity.
